- Have you ever been waiting desperately for something to happen in life.
- Have you ever dreamt of something for your entire life and pictured every single way that it would happen??
- Have you ever felt that incident happen and it passes just in a moment before you even realize or you even enjoy it??
- Have you seen that dream come true…but not in the smallest way you’ve pictured?
- Have you been crying all thru the night for the most precious thing you have got?
- Have you ever valued anything you have for more than your life but felt Perfect with out that?
- Have you ever been alone with everything you ever wanted around?
- Have you felt betrayed by your own self?

Are there any more people like me in this world?

Its rather complicated to explain what makes sense in a womans world. Nevertheless i should definitely take time to blot few intricate details of my fellow Venusians.

Here it goes..

- Mauve is a simple colour which combines light pink+lavender mixed with a bit of red tinge with a white base. How hard can this be??
- Orange Red, Coral Red, Persian Red and Venetian red are NOT SAME !!
- We don’t really know why we carry a Purse inside a BAG.
- A car with engine switched off in the side of the road is PARKED !!
- We are scared of deadly cockroaches not about some stupid HOT WAX..! ha..
- The Most Important feature in our face are Properly done EYEBROWS !!
- If we had not spent more than 45 mins in front of the mirror that means we are not done with the make up yet.
- Spoilt manicures are more depressing to hear than the stock market crash.
- For the love of GOD, we cannot wear the same colour shoes every day..!
- The above goes for bags, ear ring, bindi, outfit, hairstyle, lipstick etc etc..
- Money does not judge a guy we go out with, his shoes do !!
- We don’t care what is inside as long as it is “Gift Wrapped” properly!
- Bad Hair day is more traumatic to handle than getting fired from our job.
- Dieing in a road accident is better than gaining those extra pounds.
- Yes WE are loud!! So is your Snore!!
- Sitcoms are Self Development Program’s.
- Things we say and what we mean

  • Nothing = There are lot of things i want to say, ask and know!
  • I don’t know = I know everything and I heard more than I know!!
  • Leave me alone = Keep your sorry ass right there in place.
  • I don’t want = I want something else
  • Our Relatives = My Parents and my relatives
  • Your Relatives = Your Relatives

- Worst friend ever – Ur mom
- Best friend ever – The “add-on” credit card you gave!! :)

These are thing you might have already heard but what you don’t know is…

We don’t mind how bad the gift you’ve given is or how ugly you look when you wake up in the morning or while you snore your way to glory or no matter whatever crap your mother says and how crazy the kids are…we love being a part of the family we are in and we are Strong enough to Love you after all your silly goofups..!!

So repeat after me..”Long live the Venus Queens!”

From dawn to dusk
Till the day ends and every place fills to dust
Every moment past and every thought that’s shared
Has nothing except you; Oh! I miss you!!
I don’t know how long has it been??
Lost count of the days I haven’t seen.

In empty beaches, crowded halls, silent street and in all the songs,

It’s hard to miss those beautiful scenes only with you and me !
The sudden rain on a sunny day,
Where you would love to drench that sweat away,
I strech my hands to feel the drops
Ended up feeling all your warmth!!
I smile away the melancholy, but can’t fight those memories.
Feeling within is too deep, then I sit and start to weep!
I bawl like a baby who has just lost the only toy.
I fail to understand why days without you are so hard!!
With my world stand still and this darkness around,
With my tears still wet awaiting my only dawn!!
Come out of your disguise, Let me see your smile;
Lend me your hand and show me where I stand.

When you are back, I’ll get all my letters out of the sack,

You will know how i feel! You will know that the days without you were not real!!

I am overwhelmed to blot this today!!

For the past 4 days, (Jan 14, 16, 17 & 18) i am not “Hyper” “Pissed” “Frustrated” while on the way to office. Yaay …! There is literally no TRAFFIC ! All the Chennai roads (Route – SaligramamVadapalaniAshoknagar – West Mambalam – T Nagar) suddenly looks broader by another 5 feet, phew! I cant believe my eyes!

Hey listen.. i don’t drive okay!! It’s my husband who does that and trust me you should sit behind him to have a first hand experience of what i am talking. It is a “Virtual tour to hell and back forth“!!

I generally don’t talk to him while on the bike, to my added surprise he initiated conversation on these days. Yes it was good to see him relaxed while driving!

Whom to thank?? Hmmmm….. to The relocated crowd of Software Engineers & Engineering Students who had left My city empty and headed back to there home town to indulge in yummy “Sarkarai Pongal” !! Long Live you all !! God bless you and what ever number of childrens you have!!!!

For the crowd in South India, the topic is not new! Every film and every story read about this so called “Heroic” game. For the unknown, it is something similar the Spanish Bullfight only difference being here there are numbers of people and unleashed bulls running behind each other with no clue of who is chasing who!

In simple terms it’s a MAD Game! For multiple reasons like

- IT is not safe, if you are not watching from distance
- The bulls are tortured beyond imagination!!
- There is no minimal injury in this game ; either you are dead or you are not usefully alive!

There are various associations who speak to put an end to this on behalf of animal rights!!??? But none to speak on the humans, the people who participate in the game.
YES, I understand that this is a Traditional game with long history but please when are we going to grow??? We don’t want to see men carried out from the podium bleeding like crazy!!!

While I was talking to my father in law he gave me a very valid point of why these games are still in vogue. Money!! The set of people who get into playing these games are from down south villages of Tamil Nadu and are basically farmers and agriculturist by profession, more of a rural crowd. The Prize money would run a few thousands and that is a huge sum to earn on one shot!!. The truth is this has become a cult in the southern belt. There are group of people who breed bulls just for the cause of unleashing them during these festive times. In the end of the game there are only two parties’ affected The Injured men or the dead mans family and THE BULL!! The bull which loses the game (if a man had won over it) will be sold and cant run again on another event.

The Supreme Courts banning on this game has hurt lot of people sentiments it seems. Did it hurt the sentiment or the money made?? Who knows? If it is the sentiment, instead of banning ; the Government should take necessary steps to make it a bit safe game to participate. There should be mobile hospitals posted near the place of the event and timely help for the injured should be FREE of cost! If it is the business, ahem ahem..! I don’t have a say!!!

Having said this all it had been my dream to see one of those events live!! :) )
